Strange enough after a short period using Windows 7, I took the free upgrade opportunity I upgraded to Windows 10. I have upgraded to Windows 8. At that time I used the HP on a generic driver for some basic functions (Scanner, printer). The PhotoSmart S20 Scanner (the 'S20' for short) represents half of the input capability of HP's PhotoSmart digital photography system, the other half being the C30 digital camera. During my upgrade from Windows XP to Windows 7 (a new computer having Windows 7 clean installed) a few years ago, my old HP 3-in-1 inkjet also had problem on the driver issue.
